Water bill was ridiculously high. Called the water company to discuss it. They recommended a leak detection company. As... it was, the gentleman located a leak under the slab in our family room. Not what I wanted to hear. I’ve used Ridgeway Mechanical in the past for other projects. So.Called Ridgeway Mechanical again to see if Salvador could come out and give an estimate. Made an appointment. Salvador showed up at the exact time, confirmed the problem and gave an estimate. We called back to set up the repair. Ridgeway, sets up the repair for a Saturday @ 8:00. Salvador shows up at 7:59am on the dot, does the work and heads off to do the next job. 2 hours later…. Done. Clean job. This guy knows his stuff. Ridgeway is blessed to have him and I’m blessed to know Ridgeway.read more

Salvador came out today, Christmas Eve, and solved my water main leak. He was very personable in addition to being a... consummate professional. It was a relief knowing we’d have water despite it being a major holiday. Would recommend to anyone in need of water main repairs.read more

I have - past tense - used Ridgeway Plumbing for years at multiple locations for a variety of small to large / less to... more expensive jobs. Was very happy with the service until my last interaction mid Nov 2022. A couple last minute/day-of reschedules to accommodate other customers -> I guessed plumbing emergencies at the time. I thought I understood and was willing to accommodate as I did not have an active plumbing emergency - rather a punch list of items needing attention. Then on date of my rescheduled service to do my list of work, dispatch called while plumber was onsite, sizing up the job, and asked to reschedule for a described “rich guy" that kept calling for a sink installation. I had guests coming into town and needed a working bathroom. I let dispatch know they could do whatever they wanted but if they rescheduled 1) I'd pull all repeat business 2) I'd never recommend Ridgeway again which I previously had. Plumber left the site. Dispatch called telling me they didn't tell the contracted plumber to leave, "plumber made own decision" repeating multiple times "I don't know why he did that!" and owner would immediately "fire" their plumber of 20-years ... then, in the same breath, "(The same plumber) could return upcoming Monday to do the work". I understand scheduling is hard - labor might be thing in today’s labor marketplace . However, I accommodated previous reschedule requests. The explanations of why an on-site Plumber would leave didn't add up. Apparently Ridgeway values other clients $ more than mine. Offering my recent experience with Ridgeway for you to consider if/when you need a plumber.read more

We called Ridgeway to snake and unclog a drain of ours. They unclogged the drain and charged us $750 for it, which was... fine. About a week later we still had a sewage smell coming from the drain. We asked them to come back to help and they didn't call us back. After two weeks the sewage backed up again and we called them to see if they could come back. They blamed us for clogging the drain and said they would charge us again if they came out.We called a different plumber that unclogged the drain (Ridgeway didn't remove the full clog initially, it was further down the sewer line). The new plumber also gave us a 6-month warranty.I don't recommend Ridgeway plumbing because they didn't stand by their work and didn't fix our problem. We had to hire another plumber to fix their mess.read more

Would not recommend.I hired Ridgeway a year and a half ago when we did our master bath remodel. They messed up the... drain for our tub which caused it to leak in to the ceiling below. I had a hard time getting back in touch with them. Lots of false promises and "I'll call you back". That never happened. I hired another plumber to correct their work and now need to hire someone to patch the ceiling and paint. Their damage cost me an additional $1,000 in repairs when they could have just come out and fixed it themselves. After filing a complaint with the BBB, that got their attention and called me and offered $700 refund to retract my BBB claim and take down this review. I would suggest hiring someone who is accredited by the BBB and who maintains better customer service.read more

I am thrilled with my experience with Ridgeway Plumbing Atlanta! I needed someone to reconfigure/reconnect all of my... kitchen plumbing during a recent remodel. Josh handled the project - he reconfigured my plumbing, installed the faucet and reconnected the garbage disposal. It was all very efficient and professional. Tried to call them several times in one day. I was hung up on three times; the last time, they put me into their fax... number. Guess they're not interested in a huge plumbing contract from a Buckhead condo complex. Good job!read more

When our water line broke I called Ridgeway Atlanta and they were able to fix the problem in no time. There aren’t many... plumbers in our area that can handle water lines. We will be hiring this company again in the future.read more
